Review: The Maclaren MX3 is the company's replacement for the Mac 3 in the all terrain baby stroller category. The previous model had many downfalls but luckily Maclaren did not base the new stroller off of it.

The MX3 baby stroller is based on a strong 21lb aluminum frame, but unlike other strollers in this class can only support a child up to 55lbs. This is definitely a negative.
The Maclaren MX3's wheels are not air filled and are smaller than other all terrain strollers at 10". The front wheel swivels and can be locked for more stability or jogging. This makes for a more bumpy ride as air filled tires are much better at absorbing jolts from uneven ground.
One of the better features on the Maclaren MX3 is the baby's seat. The multi position reclining seat is very well padded for baby's comfort. It has an extendable leg rest for shorter babies or if your little rider wants to lay down. The five point harness has shoulder pads and is easily adjustable for baby's comfort. With these great seating features, even newborns can ride in the MX3.

Besides the seat, the best feature of this stroller is that it will be easier on your wallet than stroller like the BOB Revolution or Mountain Buggy Urban. You can find a new Maclaren MX3 at Ebay for only $155.
While it may not have all the bells and whistles as other models in this class, if you're looking for a good all terrain stroller at a decent price, the Maclaren MX3 is the way to go.
