Review: Kolcraft makes a line of rugged jogging and all terrain strollers packed with great features and accessories marketed under the brand name Jeep. The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller is their best entry in this class, and while it has many innovative features, it falls short of it's competitors in some areas.

The Jeep Overland Limited stroller is not as lightweight as it's competition like the BOB Ironman (22 lbs); it weights in at almost 29 lbs. It also has a significantly lower weight limited. At only 45lbs it is woefully behind other jogging strollers like the Dreamer Design Rebound which can hold 85lbs of child and 5 lbs of cargo.

It's 16" wheels are knobby, which makes it better suited in off road conditions than on sidewalks. If you're a serious runner these wheels will not suit you as well as low profile-high pressure wheels designed for running on smoother surfaces (roads, sidewalks etc).

Jeep really stands out with the extras they offer on this baby stroller. Unlike others in it's class it has a snack tray with cup holder on the adjustable handle bar. The tray incorporates the "Music on the Move" system; a speaker system with amplifier for you to plug in your Ipod, CD player, or other music player. The icing on the cake is a speed and distance monitor.

While heavier than other jogging strollers the Jeep Overland Limited does have one unique feature for transportation; it folds into a standing position. Just like full size strollers, when folded upright they are easier to handle. No bending over, no squatting down.

The Overland Limited also comes with the usual list of safety features you would expect on a jogging stroller:

Reflectors
Adjustable 5 point harness
Safety tether

The canopy is not as large as other brand's models but the Jeep Overland does come with a removable wind and weather shield. The storage underneath the seat is large and complimented by two cargo pockets.

The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller has many great features for comfort and convenience and at a lower price tag should be appealing to those who don't consider themselves serious runners. While the unique features don't make up for the mechanical and structural shortcomings, it is a good stroller for the price.
