To add to it's versatility Chicco offers the Cortina baby stroller in a travel system. The Chicco Cortina Travel System combines all of the great features of the Cortina stroller with the safety and comfort of the Key Fit 30 and Key Fit Infant Car seat.

Chicco sells two versions of this travel system; the Ket Fit Infant seat accommodates a child up to 22lbs and the Key Fit 30 up to 30lbs. The Key Fit Infant seats attaches easily to the Cortina stroller and a car seat anchor. You hear a very audible click, knowing you have properly and completely attached the seat to both. To make life easier, buy an extra car seat anchor for your partner's car. This makes transition time between cars very short.

Chicco Cortina Travel System- Race

For a better fit the Cortina Travel System comes with a new born infant insert; an extra set of padding for maximum comfort for infants 4lbs-11lbs. I have heard of parents not removing this extra padding and then complaining about the seat not fitting their larger child. Use some common sense and you will be alright.

The seats' interior is made with special "EPS" energy absorbing foam, which adds to it's impact protection. An ergonomically designed handle helps transporting the seat alone. A 5 point harness adjusts with one hand for added safety and ease.

The seats are large and for some parents the weight can be an issue. If you're not able or willing to carry it alone, make sure to bring the stroller along or pass that duty onto your mate. I have read of parents complaining that the seat is too large to fit into a super market shopping cart; which it is not designed to do. Again, use common sense, read the directions and use the stroller's ample storage space for a quick shopping trip and you won't have any problems.
